Since 1984 PMU has been providing water and wastewater services to the Paragould community. The aim of our Water and Wastewater departments has always been to deliver a water supply of the highest quality available, to collect and treat wastewater, and to return water back to the environment in the cleanest state possible.

Our motto is simple:

“Providing clean water, returning clean water.”

In keeping with that principle, we strive to:

• Conserve and protect our water supply for present and future generations
• Meet or surpass public health standards, environmental standards, and support fire protection
• Operate, maintain, improve and manage our water and wastewater infrastructure in a cost-efficient manner
• Maintain an adequate, safe, and professional workforce
• Understand and respond to customers’ expectations for service
