At PMU, ensuring that your lights stay on is a commitment we hold with utmost dedication. Our Electric crews are the backbone of this mission, diligently constructing and maintaining the intricate infrastructure that powers your homes and businesses. This involves a vast network of over 700 miles of power lines, supported by poles, turbines, transformers, and guy wires. Additionally, we operate our own generation plant to provide supplemental power when needed. Our crews are responsible for the upkeep and repair of more than 5,000 street and security lights. In the event of any outage, PMU is on-call around the clock, ready to restore service promptly and efficiently, ensuring that our community remains powered and connected.
